Our History

Founded in 1954 by Mr. Ellis Safdeye
Pioneered imports from the Orient and is the longest surviving, and most experienced footwear importer in the US. Today, we import more footwear than any other licensed and private label footwear company in the US.
Our sales in the past 50-plus years continue to achieve incremental growth on a consistent basis.

Our Company Today

We develop, source and market footwear for all categories in all genders for all channels of distribution.
Established testing facilities, production techniques, material sourcing, management supervision, training programs, and system analysis in all footwear producing countries.
Offices in Taiwan and Hong Kong. The first importer to expand into China. Today we have 8 offices throughout China including Guangzhou, Fuzhou, Shanghai, Shuhai, Putian and others.

- Expand our branded, licensed, character and intellectual property management business
- Maximize our sales opportunities through enhanced brand management of our portfolio of licenses and properties
- Globally expand our network of sourcing countries.

Our Infrastructure

Headquarters and Showrooms

State of the art world headquarters situated in Midtown Manhattan. In addition, ES Originals, Inc. maintains a separate design studio and showroom facilities in New York City.

Production Facilities and Purchasing Offices

All offices are supervised by joint American and local administrators
Full service in-house testing labs which constantly check materials, components, and finished products to meet all government and quality standards. Wear testing and fit testing is performed on all production shoes.
All factories abide by Human Rights Guidelines and conform to all government labor laws.

Product Development

Design teams consistently travel the globe to identify footwear and fashion trends
E.S. Originals has exclusive sample rooms in manufacturing facilities, as well as our own sample factory, with the highest quality engineers and technicians in the footwear industry
Produce and ship approximately 25 million pairs of shoes every year.
